On March 7th, Aebi Schmidt Nederland BV was awarded the MetaalUnie Smart Manufacturing Award 2018 in a festive ceremony. During the award ceremony in the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, the jury described Aebi Schmidt as “an outstanding example of smart manufacturing in many areas of the metal industry”. A nice compliment and recognition that we are very proud of!
Aebi Schmidt does not only concentrate on the provision of devices. Our goal is to relieve our customers as much as possible through integrated solutions. An optimal mix of “hardware”, software and services. Many customers are more interested in the result - a clean and safe road surface - than in the acquisition and maintenance of a machine park. That is why we not only support our customers with the devices themselves, but also, for example, with the optimization of their winter service. If you wish, we can even take care of all winter maintenance!
Smart manufacturing goes far beyond pure technology and the modular structure of a spreader. The human factor and market developments also play an important role. The constant desire to improve is in the blood of our employees. Creating greater customer value is central. In this way we can produce and implement “smart” and support our customers.
The data that are registered when the spreading machines are used are converted into “Smart Information”. This information is used for the aftersales service package, including “predictive maintenance”. This information is also used in new business models that aim to provide the customer with the right solution at the right time. Use instead of own is the motto. Aebi Schmidt Nederlands works with service contracts that fit seamlessly into the trend towards recycling management. We no longer focus primarily on selling a machine, but on the desired level of relief.
