A few days ago, MB opened its doors to the public and invited the community as well as employees and their families to see and explore its Airport Maintenance Products facility in Chilton, WI, which also hosts the North American headquarters. The open house event attracted over 600 visitors, and gave the unique opportunity to look behind the scenes of the production and experience the big snow clearing machines up close.

The 56th Annual International Aviation Snow Symposium was held April 19-24, 2024 in Buffalo, New York. The show, the premier conference for airport snow removal operations, called on two MB airport business experts to share their knowledge at show educational sessions.

Today marks the grand opening of new and expanded manufacturing and production facilities, as well as Aebi Schmidt Group’s North American corporate offices. Frauenfeld, October 30, 2018 – Aebi Schmidt Holding AG, a Switzerland-based leading provider of products and services for the cleaning and maintenance of traffic areas and green spaces, will supply Beijing Daxing International Airport with a total of 34 cleaning machines by June 2019. The contract highlights the ASH Group’s ambitious growth plans in the international airport sector.

In just 18 months, MB designed, engineered and began manufacturing the MB5C – a MB5 with a Cradling broom and electronic articulation for easy operation. Denver Airport, Milwaukee County International Airport and multiple other airports have submitted their orders. It may seem like it’s only for larger airports, however, smaller airports can benefit by one operator easily performing three jobs with the MB5C’s plow, broom and blowers.

With a modest ground breaking event on August 21, 2020, Aebi Schmidt North America officially announced the expansion of their manufacturing facility and offices in Chilton, Wisconsin. The expansion of 70,000 square feet will increase capacity for existing as well as additional Aebi Schmidt products and office facilities.

Aebi Schmidt Holding AG (ASH), a Switzerland-based leading provider of product systems and services for the cleaning and maintenance of traffic areas and green spaces, has acquired M-B Companies (MBC), a leading US manufacturer of snow removal and cleaning machines in the airport sector. The ASH Group has thereby gained a foothold in the North American airport market and expanded its global position in this sector.
