Schmidt |Snowplow|FLL
Plough blade
The FLL has a flat blade curvature, which ensures easy snow ejection and is ideal for clearing in inner city areas. The robust steel construction with spring flap segments on the underside ensures clean clearing. The inclination of the FLL to right or left is infinitely variable, so it can be positioned precisely in a user-friendly manner for any location and purpose.
Override security system
The FLL snow ploughs have a stable and torsion-resistant construction and are equipped with a spring flap override system with pre-tensioned torsion springs to protect against contact with unseen obstacles. Thanks to the override system, obstacles are simply driven over while the plough blade remains in the clearing position and is undamaged. Depending on length, the FLL has three, four or six spring flaps.
Cutting edges
Steel cutting edge (S)
A multi-purpose, cost optimised solution for aggressive clearing – if necessary. Steel cutting edges are resistant to bending and twisting, giving a clean result.
Rubber cutting edge (R)
A good solution for use on inner city roads and speciality properties like parking lots. Due to the flexible and elastic characteristics of rubber, it glides smoothly over the surface. Allows gentle clearing of paved surfaces.
Lifting device
FLL snow ploughs ensure big lifting height, depending on the spring excursion of the vehicle. The lifting device is easy to operate. Mounting and removal of the implement is possible within a few minutes only.
Angling system
A mechanical angling system is supplied as standard, while a hydraulic version for infinitely variable swivelling both right and left is available as an option.
Hydraulic system
Hydraulic system suitable for vehicle hydraulics with two control valves for operation of the snow plough.
Working support devices
The castor wheels ensure precise adjustment of the snow plough and provide appropriate aggressiveness during snow clearing. They support the frame when driving over obstacles and extend the service life of the cutting edge.
Snow deflector
Snow splash guard reduces visibility from the driver's cab. The rubber shield directs the air stream along with the snow dust to the side. Rubber protection is used mainly during slow clearing of wet and heavy snow. Thanks to its great flexibility, the splash guard is not easily damaged. It is simple and cost effective option.
Mounting
The FLL snow plough can be mounted on vehicles with their own lifting system using appropriate adaptors or on vehicles with their own three-link lifting system, using double-acting hydraulic cylinders.
