At 1,141.2 meters above sea level, the Brocken is the highest mountain in northern Germany and the Harz low mountain range. Heavy snowfall made it necessary to use the Schmidt VF3 L snow blower stationed there last Friday, which effortlessly made its way through the meter-high deep snow.
