The World Sweeping Association is the hub of the U.S. and worldwide power sweeping industry and one of the largest associations of contractors, service providers and manufacturer for road cleaning machines. About 100 participants took part from the 14th – 16th of September at the first sweepers roundup in Kansas City, Missouri. The ASH Group was also represented by Tobias Weissenrieder, Manager Sweeping & Agriculture. “For us the conference was not only an opportunity to make new contacts with municipalities and private service providers in North America. There were also a lot of interesting workshops and chats with different parties during three days,” says Tobias Weissenrieder.
At the end, the participants were able to prove their ability and skills during a “Sweeping Rodeo”. They had to pass a course with a sweeper without errors and as quickly as possible. In recors time and without any mistakes Tobias Weissenrieder steered confidently into the goal and took the trophy to St. Blasien in the Black Forest. Once learnt, never forgotten.
