Swingo 200+ for Haslach Depot

Clean business: Since last week, the municipal depot Haslach has a new "compact sweeper", which will be used to clean the city's streets and public squares in the future. The new vehicle replaces a smaller, ageing sweeper that kept streets and squares clean for 16 years.

"Increasingly costly repairs and difficult procurement of spare parts" are the reasons given by Reinhard Matt, head of the building yard, for the necessity to replace the machine now. After all, the machine is in use for about 400 hours a year, and thanks to its compact dimensions and environmentally friendly technology made in Germany, it can clean much more effectively and thoroughly. "I am glad that the municipal council approved this purchase without any compromises," emphasises Mayor Heinz Winkler. The new vehicle was ordered on the basis of intensive tests with comparable equipment because of the more variable possibilities during operations. Thanks to four-wheel steering, the turning circle is particularly small and can therefore also be used to sweep inaccessible corners.
It is mainly used by Werner Vollmer, who used to keep Haslach's streets clean with the now discarded machine. In addition to the sweeper, he now has many small technical aids at his disposal. Even a camera for reversing is on board.

We wish you a safe journey and lots of fun with the new Swingo 200+.
