Schmidt has launched its fully electric, emission-free and quiet sweeper as well in the Netherlands. Over the past few weeks, on the occasion of many demonstration events, existing and interested customers have been able to get their own impression of the new model, which operates for 10 hours on a single battery charge and without any compromise in performance compared to the conventional diesel-powered model.
Part of the proof of concept was a drive from Aebi Schmidt Nederland in Holten to ROVA in Zwolle. After 47 km, zero emission and 1½ hours of driving and partially sweeping the battery capacity was still at 72% – enough for the test drives and demonstrations.
