From 8.7 kWh to 445 PS, from the Aebi EC to the Schmidt Supra: they were all there in the Flumser Mountains for the winter demo by Aebi Schmidt Switzerland. Just in time for the event, winter showed itself at its best. In light snowfall, 19 winter service exhibits from the Aebi, Schmidt and MFH brands were able to demonstrate their skills. Around 150 guests from all over Switzerland watched the demonstration on the Tannenbodenalp and were then able to take a seat in the driver's seat themselves.
The parade was led by the new Aebi VT450 Vario Euro 6c with the new comfort panorama cabin. Thanks to the new transmission software, the transmission speed is regulated depending on the driving situation, which reduces fuel consumption and noise pollution. An optimized joystick enables precise control of the implements. As an option, the drive lever with Smart Navigator is now integrated in the armrest and thus enables relaxed operation of the device in every driving and work situation. Thanks to the complete decoupling of the hydraulic unit from the cab, maintenance is now even easier and, at the same time, noise in the cab is significantly reduced. The conclusion for the customer: Driving strategy, engine speed and driving dynamics are perfected - with lower consumption and lower CO2 emissions.
Two Aebi EC170s also mixed up the snow properly, or rather cleared it aside. Equipped with a comfortable bucket seat and heated seats, winter service is an experience even at sub-zero temperatures.
The Schmidt Combi Soliq S50K30, which is used by the customer in the canton of St. Gallen on the national road in area IV, was impressive. The Stratos Combi Soliq combines spreading with spreading materials: dry salt, moist salt with different brine percentages and spraying depending on the situation and weather conditions. In addition to this, another 15 spreaders of this generation are successfully in use in the canton of St. Gallen.
