When the first snowflakes fall in and around Munich, they are ready for action - the team from Werner GmbH & Co. Strassenreinigung KG in the west of Munich. Winter service equipment from Schmidt has been an integral part of the fleet for years, reports Michael Klinger, who is responsible for purchasing winter technology, among other things. An FS 90 snow blower has also been part of the inventory since the 2018/2019 season. Mounted on a Unimog, it was able to show what efficient snow removal means in the snowy winter months. An average of 3,000 saddle loads of snow come together per company site, which has to be removed, which is much faster and easier with a snow blower. Not least thanks to a "top service" from Schmidt, who is always on the spot in an emergency.
