7777th Swingo compact sweeper leaves the factory in St. Blasien

«It’s always a nice moment when the machines leave the factory,» says Thomas Berger, CEO of Aebi Schmidt Deutschland GmbH and manager of the factory in St. Blasien where the Swingo’s success story began more than 20 years ago. Our Swingo team recently celebrated a very special milestone: the delivery of the 7777th Swingo. We take a look inside the assembly hall and join the celebrations.

The first Swingo compact sweeper left the factory in St. Blasien back in 2000. Even at that time, it was one of the most powerful, efficient and environmentally friendly machines on the market. It has undergone continuous development since then, and is now available in an electric version – the eSwingo – which continues to grow in popularity. A few years ago, Aebi Schmidt carried out a full overhaul of its sweeper assembly line, setting new standards not just in machine technology, but also in the manufacturing process itself. The Swingo’s international success story continues unabated to this day. The eSwingo has recently made it as far as North America, with models in use in places such as Denver and New York. The fact that the Swingo is now attracting more and more interest in a market that was previously completely unaware of compact sweepers confirms beyond doubt that the Swingo’s success is set to continue for a very long time to come.

To mark the delivery of the 7777th machine, we took the opportunity to film the Swingo team and the manufacturing process. Join us to take a look inside the assembly hall and get to know the colleagues who bring passion and precision to their work every single day, ensuring that municipalities and service providers all over the world can clean their streets and other areas in an efficient, safe and environmentally friendly manner.
